These are a few of the projects we have been working on lately.

Little Widget

{industry: publishing | client: little widget books}

Working with Little Widget Books and author Poppy Winters, Pause designed a book jacket that would highlight the amazing artwork that tells the story of Little Widget and his journey. In this case, we simply tried not to let the design get in the way of this incredibly original and touching children's picture book.

Soundala

{industry: music | client: nocturne music}

Working with Nocturne, Pause concepted, designed and named the first in a series of meditation/yoga music albums. For inspiration, Pause looked to the iconic mandala image and its association with the practice and history of yoga. The final design combines both traditional and contemporary elements, and attempts to reflect the rhythms and colours heard in the musical compositions of Nocturne.

Cupcake

Working with startup greeting card business Cupcake out of Hong Kong, Pause concepted and developed a brand ID that would capture the flavour of this spunky company and their crafty products.

Lulu

Working with mommy fitness group "Lulu Ladies", as they called themselves at the time, Pause concepted and developed a new brand ID, along with a shift in name, to expand their marketshare to now include all family members and take their company to the next level.

Colormart

{industry: paint and decor retailer | client: colormart paint stores}

Pause worked with Colormart to freshen-up their brand ID. The goal was to create a look that was both contemporary and had loads of colour, speaking to both their boutique products and the quality service they offer their home decor clients. Since we had so much fun concepting this project, we've also thrown in a few of our original design concepts for you to see as well.

CHA

{industry: agricultural insurance | client: canadian hail insurance agencies inc}

Working with CHA, Pause concepted and designed a rebranded ID to give the company a more contemporary feel. Using the iconic maple leaf and colour scheme to speak to their Canadian roots, as well as simple and bold graphics, Pause created a brand message that is reflective of the service CHA provides to their clients; a kind of badge of assurance. We've also added a few of the original concept designs here as a point of reference.
